What is SIR 2025?
SIR 2025 is the Election Commission of India's Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls aimed at updating the voter list with a qualifying date of January 1, 2026. This process is mandatory for all voters in West Bengal.

How to Access the Online Platform
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to the CEO West Bengal official portal at https://ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in. The website recently migrated to this new domain for better accessibility and user experience.
Step 2: Locate Your Electoral Roll Information
Login here https://voters.eci.gov.in/login if new user register at first https://voters.eci.gov.in/signup
Search through your district, assembly constituency, and polling station to find your 2002 voter list reference.
Step-by-Step Online Form Filling Process
Step 3: Begin Filling the Online Form
Access the online enumeration form on the portal. You will see a form with both pre-printed and blank sections.
Step 4: Verify Pre-Printed Information
The following information will already be printed from your voter database—verify that all details are correct:

Your name and EPIC (Election Photo Identity Card) number

Your address

Assembly and Lok Sabha constituency names and numbers

Part number and serial number

Your current photograph (black-and-white or colour)

A special QR code
Step 5: Fill Mandatory Current Information (2025 Data)
Fill in the following mandatory fields:

Date of Birth: Enter in DD/MM/YYYY format

Mobile Number: This is required as all future election-related information and OTPs will be sent here

Father/Guardian's Name: Provide your father's or legal guardian's name (EPIC number optional)

Mother's Name: Mandatory to fill

Spouse's Name (if applicable): Only if married; write "Not Applicable" for unmarried individuals
Step 6: Upload New Photograph
Affix or upload a recent passport-sized colour photograph in the designated space.
Step 7: Fill Optional Aadhaar Number
You may optionally provide your Aadhaar number; this field can be left blank.
Step 8: Provide 2002 Voter List Information

This is the most critical section. Fill based on your birth year:
If you were born in or before 1984 (on 2002 voter list):

Provide your own 2002 voter list details

Enter your name, EPIC number (if available)

Provide your 2002 assembly, part number, and serial number

Include your relative's name as it appeared in 2002
If you were born after 1984 (not on 2002 voter list):

You do not fill your own 2002 information

Instead, provide details of a close relative who was on the 2002 list

This can be your father, mother, uncle, aunt, or any close relative

Include their 2002 EPIC number (if available), your relationship to them, and their 2002 voter list address
Step 9: Review and Submit

Who Should Participate?
Complete the SIR 2025 if you:

Turned 18 on or before January 1, 2026

Wish to delete entries of deceased or ineligible voters
